These students' hard work and dedication were recognized by the judges, and the awarding of Superior and Excellent ratings for their performances!
🐲 LPH students taking Digital Information Technology are given the opportunity to take Microsoft Office Industry Certification Exams in each of the Microsoft Office programs. This group of five students recently earned Industry Certification in Microsoft PowerPoint by demonstrating their skills on a rigorous certification exam. Congratulations to these students as they build their college and career readiness at Lake Placid High School!
🐲13 Lake Placid High School students recently earned Industry Certification as Adobe Certified Professionals in Visual Design Using Adobe Photoshop. These students worked hard to prepare and then crushed their exams. They are now working to become Adobe Certified Visual Designers as they learn and eventually test on Adobe Illustrator. An Adobe Certified Professional credential proves that you have the job-ready skills employers need. Congratulations to all of these students on their well-earned success!
Congratulations to our Mid Florida Roofing Services, Florida Lakes Spa, and Florida Lake Surgical Athlete of the Week WINNER, Wyatt Knapek! Wyatt is a member of our wrestling team here at LPHS. Wyatt placed 3rd overall at the Spiegel Memorial Tournament in Sebring. Wyatt also holds a 3.46 GPA in the classroom. Congrats, Wyatt!

🥳It's time to Celebrate our LPH Dragon Success. On Friday, February 7th, starting at 1:00 pm, LPH is holding our Semester 1 Academic Celebration. Students who meet two or more of the criteria received notification via Skyward and will be able to attend the celebration. Remember to bring money for the food trucks and be ready to have some fun celebrating your success!
LPH students had the opportunity to learn about UTI last week. The recruiter shared information about the programs offered on the various UTI campuses and over $12,000,000 in scholarships available for students.

LPHS SGA is selling flower grams. The presale starts Feb 3rd-6th during lunch on the stage.
The flower handout date will be Feb 11th during 5AB. Flower choices are light pink, orange, or red carnations. They will be priced at $3 per flower or 3 for $8.

Congratulations to our Mid Florida Roofing Services, Florida Lakes Spa, and Florida Lakes Surgical, ATHLETE OF THE WEEK WINNER, Paige Person! Paige is a member of our girls weightlifting team. Here is what Coach Diez had to say about Paige, "Paige is a senior and is working hard to repeat her quest to go to state. She started the road to state by placing FIRST at districts in both Olympic and Traditional in her weight class. Paige is a great student and a hard worker in the weight room and her determination makes her a pleasure to coach. She not only pushes herself but pushes her fellow lifters to work hard harder". Paige also holds a 3.8 GPA in the classroom. Congratulations, Paige!
