Dear Parents and Guardians of Highlands County bus riders: Highlands County school buses are now equipped with GPS technology that may benefit your household, as your student(s) use their Bus Pass/Student ID Card/Student ID number to sign on and off the bus as they board and exit the bus. The WheresTheBusTM parent app lets you know precisely when your child’s bus will arrive at your bus stop. This app is free to all Highlands County bus-riding households. The system also helps Transportation efficiently manage our bus fleet routes. To use the WheresTheBusTM app, download the WheresTheBusTM app from the App Store (iOS / Apple) or Google Play Store (Android). You will be prompted to create an account. Select Highlands County from the dropdown menu and provide your student’s information. Once your student’s information is verified, you will create an account and will be able to log in and access the app. We encourage you to try this exciting new technology, as we continually strive to provide you with the best possible transportation service.

Thank you to the donor who came in over the summer and donated 2 $100 Gift cards to our school. The gift cards were given to two new teachers to help them start out the school year. Ms. Barnhart and Ms. Desai were happy to be able to purchase some useful supplies for their classrooms.

Let's Dive into a Great Year at AES! Join us at Open House on Tuesday, August 6th from 4:30-6:30 pm. You will have a chance to meet teachers, visit classrooms, ask questions, free vision screenings, speak to transportation, deliver supplies to classroom, purchase an AES shirt, learn more about SAC and PTO. Our yearbooks are $25 and packed FULL of pictures. Here are a few sneak peeks of what's inside..... *Yearbooks will be delivered sometime in May. Once they are delivered we will notify parents, and send them home with students who have purchased a copy.

AES announces a new online payment solution: RevTrak! https://sbhcschools.org/payaes 1. Visit our store page and click on the item you want to pay for, for example, Daycare Payments. 2. Enter the required information for that item, for example, student name or the amount you wish to pay. Currently, only daycare payments are available online. More payment options will be introduced in the following weeks. RevTrak accepts: *Debit cards *Major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, AmEx, Discover) *eChecks (requires routing and account information)
