Our kindergarten Mustangs wrapped up their Kings and Queens unit in royal style with a fabulous Kings & Queens Ball!
Throughout the unit, students learned about royalty, palaces, and castles, and enjoyed classic stories such as King Midas and the Golden Touch, The Princess and the Pea, and Cinderella. 📚🏰
A heartfelt thank you to all of our volunteers, our amazing kindergarten teachers, our King and Queen, and of course our entertaining court jester (Mr. Hayes) for making this celebration so special. What a magical way to end a great unit of learning! 👑💙
Good morning, Mustang families! 🐎
Due to very cold temperatures expected tomorrow morning (Monday, February 2, 2026), some of our classrooms may feel cooler than usual when students first arrive. Our heating systems may need a little extra time to warm up after the overnight cold.
Please have students wear or bring a jacket or sweater, especially for the start of the school day. Classrooms should become more comfortable as the morning goes on.
Our District Facilities and Energy Management teams will continue to monitor conditions throughout the day.

One of our Pre-K classrooms had a sweet time learning this week! After a group reading of “Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?”, students put their math skills to work by graphing M&M’s. This fun, hands-on activity helped our youngest Mustangs practice sorting, counting, and recognizing colors—all while having a great time learning together! 💙📊🍫
