Wear a dress-code appropriate shirt with writing on it.

Wear a CTE shirt or black & gold!
📖 We also have lots of fun literacy activities planned, including AR tests, daily AR drawings, and favorites like Captain America and The Masked Reader!

Please be sure your students come to school dressed in warm clothes to stay cozy during arrival and outdoor time. Just a reminder to please write your student's name in jackets, hoodies, hats, etc. If they leave it somewhere we want to get it back to them.

We are sharing the dress code again as a reminder. Recently, some students have been arriving at school wearing Crocs, slides, or similar shoes. 🚫👡 These types of shoes are not safe for school activities. Recess 🛝, hallway movement 🚶♂️, and physical education 🏃♀️ require students to wear appropriate, secure footwear. 👟

We loved welcoming a special mother–daughter team to Cracker Trail Elementary as they painted their tiles for our “I Am pART of This Community” Tile Wall!
Mrs. Vicki Pontius, Glades Electric Cooperative Board of Trustee member for the Lake Josephine area (District 8), joined her daughter, Mrs. Alexis Cooper—a proud Mustang alumna and parent—for this meaningful moment. Mrs. Cooper currently serves as an Education-Training Specialist with the Highlands County UF/IFAS office, assists with our school-based 4-H program, and provides incredible support to our grade levels in so many ways.

Today, we’re excited to recognize the incredible Sebring High School NHS students who volunteered their time to help set the Gaga Ball pit back up. Many of these students are former Cracker Trail Mustangs, and it was so special to see them come back and give back to the school where their journey began. Our cafeteria and custodial staff are truly our silent achievers and hidden gems. They work hard every day to keep our school fed, clean, and running smoothly. Without them, our school simply couldn’t function.

A huge THANK YOU to our amazing Mustangs and supportive families for making Snow Cone Days such a success! Because of your generosity, the money raised helped us purchase the new flooring for our Gaga Ball pit - our students are going to love it!

Earlier this week Giggles and Glue visited our staff lounge and brought some much-needed warmth and creativity to our team! Our teachers and staff enjoyed a relaxing break filled with hot cocoa, handcrafted Christmas ornaments, and lots of holiday cheer.
